Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and implement a comprehensive AI-driven tender response platform.

• Develop and sustain backend services and AI workflows utilizing AWS-native technologies.

• Build and oversee infrastructure using Terraform and adhere to cloud-native best practices.

• Implement AI and retrieval workflows by leveraging AWS Bedrock and vector database technologies like PGvector.

• Design and orchestrate scalable workflows with AWS Step Functions.

• Collaborate closely with senior technical stakeholders to achieve project milestones within strict timelines.

• Participate in architecture decisions, backend integrations, and deployment workflows.

• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and ready for production.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across infrastructure, backend services, and AI components.

• Support testing, deployment, and optimization efforts throughout the project lifecycle.

• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high ownership and minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering or backend engineering.

• Significant hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in production settings.

• Experience with AI/LLM-related cloud tools and workflows.

• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.

• Experience in constructing backend systems and distributed workflows.

• Hands-on experience utilizing AWS Step Functions.

• Familiarity with vector database technologies such as PGvector or comparable vector search solutions.

• Experience in integrating AI services like AWS Bedrock or similar LLM platforms.

• Strong background in backend engineering and API integration.

• Ability to deliver technical solutions independently from start to finish.

• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working in a highly delivery-focused environment with tight deadlines.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
