• Contribute to the design and advancement of agentic systems that actively engage in care delivery, assisting in the coordination of care, engaging patients, and executing significant components of care workflows.
• Define and establish architectural patterns for agent reasoning, tool utilization, memory management, and human-in-the-loop collaboration.
• Develop both reusable platform capabilities and product-facing implementations, balancing long-term architecture with quick iterations.
• Take ownership of complex problem domains from start to finish — spanning system design and implementation to observability, evaluation, and ongoing improvement in production.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, operators, and domain specialists to translate intricate real-world processes into dependable agent behavior.
• Set standards and best practices for agent evaluation, safety, and operational reliability as these systems progress towards greater autonomy.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in building and deploying production software systems.
• Demonstrated experience in creating multi-agent or agent-driven systems in production with real-world operational responsibilities (beyond basic LLM workflows).
• Practical experience with contemporary agent ecosystems, including frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, Mastra, Claude Agents SDK), observability/evaluation tools (e.g., Langfuse, LangSmith, Braintrust), MCP implementations, and leading AI SDKs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Strong fundamentals in systems and backend architecture, with experience in designing scalable, reliable systems and addressing infrastructure, performance, failure modes, cost, and deployment issues.
• A clear focus on agentic evaluation, encompassing automated evaluations, simulation-based testing, regression frameworks, metrics design, and continuous improvement loops.
• An AI-native builder with high velocity and ownership, showcasing intellectual curiosity, swift adoption of new tools, a bias for action, and the capability to navigate ambiguous problems from concept to production.
• A strong cross-functional collaborator and communicator, capable of partnering with Product, Operations, and domain experts to deliver comprehensive systems with measurable real-world impact.
