Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and deploy end-to-end ML/AI models.

• Maintain and enhance AI systems in a production environment.

• Foster an AI-driven coding mindset.

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data teams.

• Convert technical tradeoffs into actionable insights for non-specialists.

• Actively engage in code reviews and design discussions.

• Contribute to architectural decisions regarding AI systems.

• Take full ownership of significant projects from start to finish.

• Elevate engineering standards by mentoring junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience.

• At least 2 years dedicated to AI/ML systems in a production setting.

• Strong foundation in software engineering (Python or similar languages).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services.

• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver agentic systems.

• Proficient in AI frameworks and orchestration tools.

• Experience with evaluation frameworks and observability tools for LLM applications.

• Practical experience in constructing RAG pipelines.

• Background in API development.

• Expertise in cost optimization, including token economics, caching strategies, and model routing.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to tackle ambiguous technical challenges.
