Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage AI systems that address real business challenges across Finom.

• Transition seamlessly from prototype to production by shaping solutions, constructing systems, assessing quality, and enhancing them over time.

• Engage in high-impact projects related to onboarding, customer support, AI accounting, fraud and risk management workflows, document comprehension, internal automation, and agentic systems utilized by various teams.

• Provide production-grade AI functionalities that deliver tangible value for both customers and the business.

⛳️ Requirements

• A proficient software engineer with extensive experience in Python and a proven history of deploying production systems.

• Comfortable managing the entire lifecycle: prompting, retrieval, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and production support.

• Skilled at transforming vague business challenges into solid technical solutions.

• Product-oriented with a focus on genuine user outcomes rather than merely model outputs.

• Independent, pragmatic, and capable of maintaining progress without extensive oversight.

• Effective communicator, adept at collaborating across various functions.

• Inquisitive, proactive, humble, and action-oriented.

• Demonstrated experience in building and deploying AI systems in a production environment.

• Strong foundational knowledge in Python and software engineering.

• Practical experience with LLM applications.
