📋 Description

• Design and Scale AI Systems: Collaborate with the Founding AI Engineer to enhance our AI systems into a robust, governed, and state-of-the-art platform.

• Strengthen the Reasoning & Context Layer: Create advanced context engineering systems that manage memory and state while enhancing reliability, performance, and user experience.

• Develop a Multi-Layered Evaluation Platform: Design and execute a resilient system for ongoing quality enhancement, utilizing comprehensive offline test suites, LLM-as-a-judge scoring (AI Auditor), and production-based CPA moderation to generate a data flywheel.

• Full-Stack AI Delivery: Write production-ready TypeScript (Node.js) to ensure seamless integration of AI features into our core fintech platform.

• Security-First Design: Guarantee that context boundaries and data retrieval paths inherently enforce strict security, privacy, and compliance measures to safeguard client data.

• Lead AI-Native Development: Set benchmarks for utilizing AI to develop AI—employing advanced coding assistants and automated testing to sustain high productivity and promote best practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Production AI Experience: You have demonstrated success in transitioning AI features from "demo-ware" to production at scale.

• Expertise in Context Engineering & AI Orchestration: Proven experience in creating systems where the main challenge lies in managing context, memory, and state at scale.

• Collaborative Architect: You excel at working closely with other senior leaders to brainstorm, peer-review, and refine complex system designs.

• The Stack: Proficiency in TypeScript (Node.js). Experience with AI orchestration and evaluation in production. Familiarity with observability tools is advantageous.

• Fintech/Regulated Context: You understand the importance of precision in regulated environments, particularly in tax, where "mostly right" is insufficient. You possess the discipline necessary for building in such a space.

• Growth Mindset: You are prepared to transition from zero to one to scale with minimal friction, embracing the dynamic nature of the AI stack.

• Early-Stage Appetite: You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities can change rapidly, preferring to ship, experiment, and iterate rather than waiting for a perfect specification.
