Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Develops, designs, and implements AI/ML solutions to enhance planning, forecasting, construction optimization, and risk mitigation for renewable energy initiatives, taking ownership of specified workstreams or products.

• Directs the establishment of MLOps pipelines, oversees model lifecycle processes, and manages production monitoring for designated solutions, ensuring compliance with security, integration, and performance standards.

• Collaborates with IT and data teams to create and deploy secure, scalable, and integrated AI solutions that align with established enterprise architectures and guidelines.

• Engages with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and convert them into actionable technical designs; provides recommendations for solution strategies and design choices for review and coordination with the AI leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or similar fields.

• Willingness to travel quarterly to Avon, MN (Corporate) and various job site locations.

• Strong expertise in cloud architecture, APIs, and contemporary ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, XGBoost, Langchain, Tensorflow, LlamaIndex, etc.).
