Senior AI Engineer – Agentic Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define the vision, architecture, and implementation of Dialpad’s cutting-edge AI platform.

• Develop production-quality systems where AI agents can reason, act, coordinate, and execute workflows safely.

• Lead the creation of a sophisticated multi-agent orchestration framework that enables real-time conversational reasoning.

• Steer technical strategy and manage the architectural roadmap and delivery of Dialpad’s Agentic infrastructure.

• Design and implement scalable, multi-modal AI agents capable of providing autonomous support.

• Mentor senior colleagues, establish technical standards for an AI-native SDLC, and advance research and implementation of innovative agent frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering.

• Demonstrated history of technical leadership (Senior, Staff, or Principal Engineer) in delivering complex, large-scale systems.

• Strong foundation in scaling distributed systems and production-grade infrastructure, transitioning into applied AI, LLM platforms, and agentic architectures.

• Extensive knowledge of LLM platforms, including inference optimization and fine-tuning methods.

• Practical experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, or ecosystems from AWS/Google.

• Proven ability to set clear technical objectives, identify architectural risks, and systematically address technical debt.
