Senior AI Enablement Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Promote an AI-first culture by utilizing internal playbooks and "golden-path" templates, while assessing impact through DORA and SPACE metrics.

• Oversee AI expenses by implementing token budgeting and usage monitoring, complemented by safeguards like PII redaction and audit logging.

• Create and document reusable templates for code generation, pull requests, testing, and debugging to enhance the overall developer lifecycle.

• Execute proofs of concept and offer guidance on AI tools based on return on investment, technical validity, and feedback from stakeholders.

• Administer streamlined AWS infrastructure, including API Gateways and LLM pipelines, while integrating tools with CI/CD and GitLab.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 8 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, developer experience, or a closely aligned technical field.

• Proven hands-on expertise with LLM APIs and AI developer tools in production or organizational settings.

• Experience in evaluating, acquiring, or governing AI/SaaS tools at an organizational level, including vendor assessment, license management, and cost oversight.

• Strong proficiency in Python for automation, tooling, and the development of lightweight AI workflows and integrations.

• Regular, practical use of AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar) in your engineering workflows.

• Experience in designing developer workflows, internal platforms, or self-service engineering capabilities with an emphasis on adoption and usability.

• Solid experience with AWS, including familiarity with Bedrock, API Gateway, or equivalent managed AI and cloud services.

• A strong observability mindset, capable of instrumenting AI tools and workflows with significant metrics and usage signals.

• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm) and experience working within GitOps and CI/CD environments, preferably with GitLab CI.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of translating technical insights into clear recommendations for engineering leadership and business audiences.
