AI Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Define and lead the internal AI tooling roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact and feasibility.

• Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Support, Engineering, Finance, etc.) to identify automation opportunities.

• Assess and choose AI models, platforms, and SaaS tools that align with our technology stack and budget.

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven internal tools such as chatbots, workflow automations, document processors, and data pipelines.

• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into existing systems using APIs, Zapier, Make, or custom code solutions.

• Maintain a repository of reusable prompt templates, optimized workflows, and automation playbooks.

• Offer regular and on-demand training sessions throughout the organization.

• Establish guidelines, usage policies, and monitoring systems for AI tools used internally in collaboration with our Legal team and CISO.

• Monitor cost, quality, and adoption metrics for each deployed tool; make iterative improvements based on data insights.

• Ensure all tools comply with security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical operations, platform engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in building and deploying AI or LLM-based tools in a production or organization-wide setting.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

• Hands-on experience with AI APIs and platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, or similar technologies).

• Strong knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and AI workflow orchestration.

• Familiarity with no-code/low-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n, etc.).

• Excellent communication abilities — capable of conveying AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
