AI Automation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Design and implement AI workflows — Transform feature specifications into n8n workflows that enhance the web app's AI functionalities (such as summarization, generation, enrichment, classification, extraction, and more).

• Build for scalability and reliability — Create workflows that can withstand high volume: including batching, retries, idempotency, rate-limit management, error handling, cost control, and quality assurance.

• API and backend integration — Directly call APIs, manage authentication (API keys, OAuth), and establish Supabase backends (Postgres tables, row-level security, edge functions) for your workflows to interact with.

• Transition to engineering — Prepare each workflow for developer integration without the need for reverse-engineering: deliver a documented endpoint and payload contract, data models, edge cases, and sample requests.

• Write & Curate Prompt Playbooks — Create prompt templates, maintain version controls, and develop “how-to” guides to enable teammates to leverage AI capabilities effortlessly.

• Automate Reporting & Alerts — Deploy bots that provide daily KPI updates, highlight performance declines, and alert stakeholders via Slack or email.

• Support operational automation — Utilize Zapier, Make (Integromat), and Airtable AI in conjunction with ChatGPT, Claude, and custom webhooks to reduce manual tasks and enhance the efficiency of every team.

• Manage Dashboards & Trackers — Develop real-time Notion databases and Sheets models—complete with AI-generated summaries, anomaly alerts, and dynamic rollups.

• Collaborate Across Functions — Work alongside Marketing, Creative, Finance, and Operations to pinpoint friction points and implement customized AI solutions.

• Lead innovation sprints — Explore new AI platforms, n8n nodes, and serverless tools, and conduct rapid pilots to improve efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• AI & Prompt Engineering: Proficient with ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms—strong skills in prompt engineering.

• No-Code Automation Expert: Advanced user of Zapier, Make (Integromat), and n8n—experienced in building multi-step workflows, webhooks, error management, and custom integrations.

• Mastery of Notion & Google Sheets: Proficient in advanced databases, rollups, Apps Script/Macros, pivot tables, and dynamic formulas.

• Systems & Documentation: Experience in creating and documenting complex SOPs or workflow libraries that are actively utilized by teammates.

• E-commerce/Agency Operations: Over 2 years of experience designing tools for dynamic marketing or DTC teams.

• Effective Communicator: Capable of simplifying technical terminology into clear “click-by-click” guides and conducting engaging training sessions.

• Knowledge of Supabase/databases: Experienced in schema design, basic SQL, row-level security, and edge functions; comfortable working with relational data.

• Developer handoff & documentation: Skilled in specifying AI workflows from n8n and transitioning them to developers as endpoint APIs with comprehensive documentation.
