Senior AI Developer, Technology Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Design innovative techniques to enhance GPU performance for complex workloads in generative AI, covering LLMs, diffusion models, multimodal systems, deep learning, and machine learning.

• Collaborate closely with key developers to optimize and speed up generative AI training and inference on NVIDIA platforms.

• Create and refine algorithms to achieve optimal performance.

• Contribute to frameworks for training and inference, low-level software libraries, and open-source initiatives.

• Work alongside industry and academic experts to evaluate and enhance complex AI algorithms on contemporary CPU and GPU architectures.

• Influence the development of next-generation hardware, system software, libraries, and programming models through teamwork with NVIDIA's engineering and research teams.

• Publish findings on optimization techniques in developer blogs and present at industry conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computational discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in software engineering and performance tuning.

• Proficient in C/C++ programming with a strong grasp of algorithms and software development.

• Background in accelerated computing, with in-depth knowledge of parallel programming, performance analysis, and optimization.

• Practical experience in executing low-level performance optimizations.

• Fundamental understanding of modern CPU and GPU architectures.

• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving and prioritization.

• Expertise in the parallelization and performance enhancement of Large Language Models (LLMs), Diffusion Models, and Multimodal Architectures for both training and inference.

• Experience with training and inference stacks, serving frameworks, as well as pre-training and post-training processes.

• Solid foundation in linear algebra and numerical methods.

• Commitment to continuous learning, staying updated with the latest technologies, and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
