This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Create MLIR-based graph representations and enhancements for future GPU architectures.
β’ Collaborate with framework and hardware teams to facilitate new model patterns and emerging GPU architectural features.
β’ Establish APIs and MLIR dialects.
β’ Perform performance optimizations and analyses.
β’ Execute compiler optimizations and kernel generation for neural networks.
β’ Contribute to overall software engineering tasks.
β’ Set project objectives and define scope.
β’ Drive personal development initiatives.
β’ Mentor junior engineers and interns.
β’ Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
β’ Over 3 years of relevant experience in performance analysis and compiler optimizations.
β’ Familiarity with compiler technologies such as MLIR, XLA, and LLVM.
β’ Strong programming and software design skills in C/C++ and Python.
β’ Experience in debugging, performance analysis, and testing.
β’ Capacity to work independently, set project goals and scope, and lead personal development efforts.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, product-oriented environment.
β’ Knowledge of deep learning models, algorithms, and frameworks like PyTorch and JAX.
β’ Experience with GPU kernel generation aimed at achieving high performance and rapid build times.
β’ Proficiency in GPU architecture, including experience with CUDA or OpenCL programming.
