Senior Advisor, Agile Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership, develop, prioritize, and sustain a robust product backlog of features and user stories.

• Collaborate with business and clinical stakeholders to enhance the customer experience quality.

• Facilitate user story refinement sessions, ensuring that business value remains the primary focus.

• Assist development teams by crafting actionable requirements and identifying or eliminating obstacles.

• Provide servant leadership and foster continuous improvement within Agile teams.

• Coordinate team activities to optimize productivity, delivery speed, and business value.

• Review and approve completed user stories to confirm they meet the established acceptance criteria.

• Validate work with business stakeholders to ensure requirements and expected outcomes are met.

• Collaborate with Application Development Managers on quality assurance efforts and release planning.

• Manage release activities, including preparation of release notes, communications, user documentation, and reporting.

• Lead sprint reviews, Agile demonstrations, and meetings with stakeholders.

• Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on intricate provider and clinical experience initiatives.

• Act as a reliable resource for inquiries pertaining to provider experience and customer-facing applications.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

• Over 5 years of experience in product ownership, clinical product management, business ownership, or a similar domain.

• Strong product management background with a demonstrated ability to lead Agile and SDLC projects to successful completion.

• Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Smartsheet.

• Capability to develop partnerships and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills.

• Proficient in translating business and technical requirements into clear, actionable solutions.

• Experience working within cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Proven track record of establishing credibility and strong working relationships across business and technical teams.

• Comfortable leading discussions with large groups of stakeholders, including senior leadership.

• Agile certifications are preferred but not essential.

• Experience in healthcare utilization management (UM) is preferred but not mandatory.
