This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• The Senior Advertising Manager – Retail Media is a crucial individual contributor position responsible for leading and advancing clients’ digital advertising strategies across prominent retail media networks.
• This role serves as the main strategic point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring proactive communication with senior stakeholders, driving process enhancements as the team grows, and guaranteeing that the team achieves measurable business results through data-driven retail media strategies.
• Collaborate with internal account teams and external clients to design and implement retail media strategies that align with client business goals, growth targets, and promotional schedules.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing proactive updates on performance trends, optimization strategies, risks, and strategic recommendations.
• Convert performance data into compelling narratives for clients, linking media results to business outcomes such as incrementality and profitability.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, market research, and scout for platform innovations.
• Stay updated on retail media trends, platform enhancements, and measurement techniques. Proactively introduce new ideas and testing opportunities to the team and clients.
• Bachelor’s degree and over 3 years of experience in managing larger-scale digital advertising or retail media accounts (experience in CPG or e-commerce is strongly preferred).
• Proven hands-on experience with Amazon (including DSP), Walmart Connect, Instacart, Kroger, or similar retail media networks.
• Demonstrated ability to distill large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations tailored for client stakeholders and internal teams.
• Strong strategic thinker with excellent analytical capabilities and a keen attention to detail — adept at linking minor optimizations to significant business results.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners and clients.
