Senior Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of month-end close and financial reporting for intricate clients utilizing QuickBooks Online.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients.

• Manage job costing, inventory tracking, and reporting processes.

• Prepare and document advanced journal entries.

• Implement full-cycle accrual accounting and adhere to GAAP principles.

• Develop and sustain client-specific SOPs, documentation, and QBO workflows.

• Review and provide feedback on the work of junior Accounting Specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in small businesses or firms.

• Proven experience in reviewing or supervising the work of other accountants.

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

• Strong understanding of full-cycle accrual accounting and GAAP principles.

• Experience in job costing, inventory management, and class/location reporting.

• Proficient in managing third-party integrations.

• Ability to document processes and map workflows effectively.

• Strong communicator capable of leading client meetings and articulating financial information clearly.
