Senior Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily operations of monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close activities.

• Coordinate team objectives, define clear ownership and accountability, and ensure the timely completion of close-related tasks.

• Evaluate complex accounting analyses, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules prepared by team members.

• Conduct analysis of financial results and reconciliation discrepancies.

• Manage essential corporate accounting processes, including cash management, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and other designated accounting areas.

• Investigate accounting issues and document accounting treatments for acquisitions and other financial transactions.

• Review and maintain S/4-to-HFM mapping tables, identifying and addressing any mapping issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's degree in Accounting is a plus.

• Over 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.

• Experience in Financial Shared Services and/or outsourcing is advantageous.

• Familiarity with 10 K schedule support is required.

• Experience in Fixed Asset and Lease accounting is essential.

• Knowledge of Intercompany accounting, consolidations, and foreign currency translations is necessary.

• Experience in a large, multinational company is a plus.

• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is required.

• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team of accountants.
