Senior Accounting Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist in the monthly processing of invoices (both inventory and non-inventory) with precision and promptness.

• Ensure appropriate coding, documentation, and approvals are in accordance with company policies.

• Conduct 3-way matching (Purchase Order, receipt, and invoice) and resolve any discrepancies.

• Uphold compliance with internal controls and audit standards.

• Investigate and rectify invoice discrepancies and payment issues.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth resolutions.

• Address vendor inquiries and foster strong relationships.

• Assist in guaranteeing timely and accurate payments.

• Contribute to month-end close activities related to Accounts Payable.

• Provide support for reconciliations and reporting as required.

• Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, automation, and overall efficiency.

• Engage in system and process improvements.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary.

• Maintain precise financial records and support bookkeeping activities as needed.

• Offer support for both internal and external audits.

• Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an associate's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Two years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.

• Proficient understanding of invoice processing and 3-way matching.

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.

• Capability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Effective communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach.

• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Ability to professionally interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Comfortable adhering to established procedures and implementing company policies in daily operations.
