Senior Accounting Analyst – SAP S/4HANA Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Conduct reconciliations of balance sheets and profit & loss statements, perform account analysis to detect variances, and prepare regular reports.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the Accounting department and the SAP project team, which includes IT personnel, consultants, and stakeholders.

• Engage in the design of accounting processes within SAP, focusing on the chart of accounts and posting logic.

• Assist in the migration of data from legacy systems.

• Take part in User Acceptance Testing cycles to ensure SAP postings and reports align with business requirements.

• Deliver training and provide daily assistance to Accounting teams during the go-live phase and stabilization period (hypercare).

• Implement SOX controls and aid in the creation of internal control documentation within the SAP framework.

• Oversee accounts payable, carry out bank reconciliations, and record accounting entries with the necessary documentation.

• Facilitate the deployment of SAP S/4HANA across various countries, acting as a bridge between Accounting and technology teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience within accounting teams, ideally in multinational or rapidly expanding environments.

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA or ERP systems, particularly the FI/CO modules.

• Experience in at least one SAP implementation, rollout, or significant upgrade project from a Finance/Accounting perspective.

• Proficient in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Advanced/Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, for effective international collaboration.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey accounting requirements into system specifications.
