Senior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Assist in the daily accounting functions of the Company’s subsidiary and other financial sectors.

• Play a role in the monthly closing process, ensuring financial records are both accurate and timely.

• Prepare and log routine journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, ensuring that all necessary supporting documentation is in place.

• Support the monthly closing process, adhering to all reporting deadlines.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

• Uphold accurate and complete accounting records in line with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.

• Generate standard financial reports and supplementary schedules.

• Enhance internal controls by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of financial transactions.

• Aid during external audits by providing requested documentation.

• Contribute to improvements in systems and processes, including ERP-related projects as required.

• Work collaboratively with other teams (e.g., operations, finance, or supply chain) to guarantee proper recording of costs and expenses.

• Provide support for ad-hoc projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in accounting or auditing positions.

• A degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

• Knowledge of US GAAP is essential.

• Basic comprehension of accounting processes and month-end closing procedures.

• Proficient in English.

• Strong communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adhering to established procedures.

• Ability to manage routine tasks within a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• A team player with a collaborative approach.

• Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.

• Familiarity with managing accounting and reporting for multi-currency entities is beneficial.
