Senior Accounting Analyst – Advanced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Manage daily general accounting functions.

• Oversee the monthly accounting close process for the AMER region.

• Accountable for all financial and accounting aspects of designated accounts or areas of responsibility within One Identity.

• Prepare and post journal entries, analyze financial statements and ledger activities, and conduct written variance analyses.

• Coordinate the internal and external auditor processes during audits.

• Collaborate closely with the tax team to supply necessary information for tax submissions.

• Participate in ongoing process improvement and simplification initiatives.

• Work alongside business partners to address exceptions, close identified gaps, and handle any other ad hoc projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or a relevant professional qualification.

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm and/or multinational corporation (MNC).

• Prior knowledge of all aspects of monthly accounting cycles and procedures, including financial reporting.

• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Knowledge of Oracle and experience with SOX are advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside critical thinking capabilities.

• Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
