Senior Accountant, Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Responsible for financial accounting and reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

• Ensure the timely preparation of both monthly and annual financial statements.

• Continuously analyze and enhance accounting processes while further developing the chart of accounts with a forward-thinking approach.

• Assist in establishing an independent financial accounting function and supervise the migration from DATEV to our internal ERP system.

• Ensure efficient operations, support the team with daily tasks, and guarantee the timely and high-quality management of all accounting responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed advanced training as a certified balance sheet accountant (IHK) or a degree in business administration with a focus on finance/accounting.

• Several years of substantial professional experience in managing the financial accounting of a manufacturing company, preferably one with large warehousing structures, as well as experience in cross-departmental structuring and optimization of accounting-related processes.

• Proficient in DATEV, Dynamics/Navision or similar accounting software, along with MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong numerical aptitude, an organized work style, and a solid understanding of accounting relationships.

• Independent and precise work style with a willingness to take responsibility for specific areas of work.

• Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a passion for teamwork.
