Senior Accountant, Tax & Financial Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Prepare corporate income tax returns, extensions, and estimated tax payments for both federal and state levels.

• Calculate quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 standards.

• Conduct tax research and address tax notices as necessary.

• Assist in automating financial reporting processes.

• Provide support for compliance and planning relating to state and local income taxes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.

• A CPA license is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or within a corporate tax department.

• Strong understanding of U.S. corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740 income tax accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis capabilities.

• Experience with corporate tax software like CorpTax is preferred.

• Familiarity with tax research tools such as Bloomberg Tax (BNA), CCH, or Thomson Reuters Checkpoint.

• Exposure to multi-state and sales/use tax compliance is advantageous.
