This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Develop, assess, and implement accounting and financial functions.
• Create managerial reports, financial statements, and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare and evaluate journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and various other financial reports.
• Report on and provide insights into the organization's financial condition.
• Develop analytical financial tools for critical balance sheet accounts that are at risk.
• Design, execute, modify, and document accounting systems.
• Adapt accounting and recordkeeping practices to align with current computerized accounting technology.
• Support treasury functions by monitoring weekly activities and reporting findings to management.
• Prepare and uphold claims liability lag reports.
• Reconcile and assess claims system reports and claims liability reports against checks issued and other empirical data.
• Conduct special studies and propose or recommend improvements to accounting methods and procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Over 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally within public accounting or the healthcare sector.
