
Senior Accountant, Fixed Assets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the implementation of processes, policies, and procedures related to Fixed Assets accounting and reporting.
• Contribute significantly to the financial month-end closing and reporting processes.
• Review, analyze, and manage all capital asset additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Maintain and close the Asset Management SAP subledger while monitoring aging balances.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual Fixed Assets reports.
• Analyze and document fluctuations in the income statement and balance sheet on a monthly basis.
• Prepare various account reconciliations for the balance sheet.
• Execute internal processes for the calculation, allocation, and recording of capitalized labor and interest.
• Provide assistance for internal management reporting, external GAAP reporting, and audit activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5 to 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in Fixed Assets Accounting.
• Experience with SAP is mandatory.
• CPA Designation is preferred.
• Proficiency in database tools and financial reporting packages is essential.
• Experience in organizing and analyzing large volumes of data while identifying automation tools and solutions.
