Senior Accountant – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and execute accounting operations for our expanding software company, including journal entries, accruals, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and account reconciliations.

• Preparation of sales tax and payroll.

• Support for financial and SOC audits.

• Generation of financial statements.

• Management of cash, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Availability of 20-40 hours per week on a contract basis.

• 3-5 years of accounting experience.

• Proficient in accounting software.

• Experience in creating and preparing financial statements.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel is required.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Proficient in GAAP.

• Experience in SaaS, technology, or software companies is preferred.

• Well-developed skills in both oral and written communication.

• A strong desire to continue learning, particularly about the energy sector and W Energy software.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Effective problem-solving capabilities.

• A responsible individual with a robust work ethic and analytical mindset, ready to assume a key administrative role.
