Senior Accountant – Client Accounting Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting operations for a variety of client entities across different sectors.

• Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial documentation.

• Supervise and evaluate the work performed by Accountants and Bookkeepers.

• Guarantee adherence to internal accounting standards.

• Lead the monthly and quarterly closing processes.

• Review and authorize journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

• Prepare and examine monthly financial statements, including: Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Cash Flow Reports.

• Deliver clear and actionable financial insights to clients and internal teams.

• Analyze financial results to identify variances or trends.

• Act as the main accounting point of contact for designated clients.

• Communicate financial outcomes, address accounting inquiries, and follow up on any missing documentation.

• Assist in onboarding new clients and assess historical financial data.

• Lead the clean-up and reconciliation of past financial records.

• Identify process inefficiencies and propose enhancements.

• Support the implementation of accounting systems and automation tools.

• Assist with tax preparation and audit requirements.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – REQUIRED.

• 4–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in: Outsourced accounting services, Public accounting, or Accounting services firms.

• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

• Experience managing multiple client entities or sets of books.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Familiarity with cloud accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite).
