
Senior Accountant – Client Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee client relationships on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Bookkeeper360 clients.
• Engage with business owners to provide monthly financial reviews or as requested by the client.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines across various accounting tasks, including general ledger management, month-end closing activities, and financial reporting.
• Supervise and guide a team of 1-3 bookkeepers in executing transactional bookkeeping responsibilities, such as accounts payable/receivable, expense categorization, reconciliations, and more.
• Effectively assign and review tasks delegated to your bookkeeping team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile tax returns with books and records.
• Provide outstanding service within the established time frame and budget.
• Complete any outstanding projects efficiently and promptly.
• Maintain regular communication with your manager regarding financial closing, accounting challenges, and deliverables.
• Utilize various cloud-based accounting systems and integrated add-ons to deliver accounting services to our clients.
• Establish and manage integrations with cloud technology.
• Assess workflow and business operations, offering technology and application suggestions to enhance efficiencies.
• 3-5 years of experience managing the work of bookkeepers or staff accountants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related area (BS/MS/MBA preferred).
• Experience in e-commerce, product-based companies, technology, professional services, and the real estate sector.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems.
• Background in public accounting.
• Experience in consulting.
• Proficiency in accrual basis financial reporting.
