This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independent handling of ongoing business transactions in accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit card billing, asset accounting, banking, and cash management.
• Management of payment transactions.
• Execution of dunning procedures.
• Account reconciliation and structured discrepancy clarification.
• Oversight of the validation of significant balance sheet positions and intercompany service relationships.
• Preparation and determination of deferrals, provisions, and valuations according to HGB for quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Continuous project evaluation.
• Taking over VAT advance returns and other statistical reports.
• Review of incoming travel expense reports.
• Further development of existing accounting processes.
• Point of contact for internal departments, auditors, tax consultants, banks, health insurance companies, authorities, and other external business partners.
• Successfully completed commercial training.
• Ideally, further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or a comparable focus.
• Relevant, several years of professional experience in finance and accounting.
• Solid accounting security according to HGB for various types of companies.
• Good knowledge of German tax law.
• Excellent skills in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Good English language skills, both spoken and written.
• High level of commitment, motivation, and teamwork.
• Reliable, independent, structured, and results-oriented work style.
• Minimum of 30 hours per week with 100% remote work.
