Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Perform general ledger accounting and manage month-end close processes within SAP in a multi-entity environment.

• Execute monthly account reconciliations.

• Prepare statutory financial statements for entities in Cyprus in accordance with IFRS while assisting with consolidated US GAAP reporting.

• Oversee compliance with revenue recognition for customer agreements, deferred revenue schedules, and digital revenue sources.

• Handle accounting responsibilities in payroll, indirect tax, and intercompany transactions.

• Assist the global transfer pricing team with necessary calculations.

• Act as the main point of contact for both internal and external auditors.

• Streamline audit data requests and their execution.

• Promote process enhancements, controllership initiatives, and automation of SAP workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced accounting or financial reporting within a multi-entity international corporate framework.

• Solid understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.

• Proven experience in preparing statutory financial statements.

• Familiarity with multi-currency account reconciliations, month-end closing operations, and audit coordination.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• High proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Practical experience with SAP ERP or comparable enterprise-level accounting software.

• Active professional accounting certification such as ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent credential is advantageous.

• Basic understanding of international transfer pricing regulations and corporate tax compliance is a plus.

• An interest in AI technologies and automation tools is a plus.
