Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist with the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.

• Prepare and log revenue-related journal entries following a thorough analysis of relevant transactions and supporting documentation.

• Reconcile sub-ledger activities with general ledger balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances in income statements and budget-to-actual figures.

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to public company reporting requirements.

• Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal teams to support financial reporting and operational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.

• 3–6 years of progressive experience in accounting or billing operations, preferably within a SaaS or technology setting.

• Experience in public accounting and/or U.S. technical accounting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting methodologies.

• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to work collaboratively across functions.

• Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle Fusion Cloud and CRM platforms such as Salesforce is a plus.
