Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate QuickBooks Online files for precise coding, GST/HST, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and transaction accuracy.

• Resolve QuickBooks Online challenges for both clients and team members.

• Prepare and submit T-slips.

• Complete year-end workpapers utilizing CaseWare Cloud.

• Prepare and assess corporate and personal tax returns using Profile.

• Prepare year-end adjusting entries.

• Use Karbon to oversee tasks and deadlines.

• Ensure a response time of two business days for emails.

• Communicate in a clear and professional manner with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in corporate tax filing within Alberta and/or Ontario.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

• Experience in preparing personal and corporate tax returns.

• Experience in preparing compilation engagements.

• Familiarity with Profile tax software.

• Ability to support or mentor others (formal or informal leadership).

• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
