Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, encompassing reconciliations, month-end closures, and financial reporting.

• Reconcile cash and transaction activities across a network of digital currency kiosks.

• Collaborate with operations and cash logistics teams to address discrepancies.

• Assist in accounting for digital asset transactions related to kiosk sales, OTC trading, online purchases, and digital wallet activities.

• Exercise financial judgment in a high-volume transaction environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Implement and enhance accounting tools and systems for a growing, multi-location business.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and vendor relationships.

• Facilitate compliance and regulatory financial reporting for a licensed money services operation.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online or equivalent accounting software, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive.

• Remain informed about emerging technologies and AI applications that enhance accounting efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with companies based in the U.S.

• CPA certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in managing full-cycle accounting within a high-transaction-volume or multi-location business environment.

• Strong skills in general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end closures.

• Capability to adapt to shifting priorities across various business lines.

• Experience making informed financial decisions in fast-paced, high-growth business settings.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, digital assets, or regulated financial services/money services businesses is a significant advantage, though not mandatory.

• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar platforms.

• Skilled in using Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive.

• Experience with cash management or treasury reconciliation tools is highly desirable.

• Exposure to cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, or crypto-specific accounting platforms is a plus.

• Awareness of AI applications in accounting is an added benefit.

• Full professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across digital platforms.

• Proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and independent problem-solving abilities.

• Demonstrates ownership, openness to feedback, adaptability, integrity, and curiosity.

• Must be currently residing in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
