Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of general ledger functions, including leases, equity, capitalized software, and allocations.

• Create journal entries and conduct account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.

• Assist in the month-end closing process to guarantee timely and precise financial reporting.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to collect information and address accounting-related inquiries.

• Help uphold and adhere to established accounting policies and procedures.

• Provide support for year-end audit requests and regulatory submissions.

• Aid in technical accounting research and the adoption of new accounting standards.

• Assist with special projects and process enhancements as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in private industry or public accounting.

• Knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.

• Capability to work autonomously while also effectively collaborating within a team.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

• A positive attitude with a desire to learn and advance professionally.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
