Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• You will take charge of the accounting operations for various companies within the OneQrew group independently.

• You will collaborate closely with the Finance team, leveraging your expertise in a professional, dynamic, and self-directed work environment.

• You will play an active role in stabilizing and enhancing our finance processes, driving improvements in process optimization and automation while assuming responsibility in a contemporary setting.

• You will conduct ongoing accounting for multiple OneQrew group entities on your own.

• You will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting.

• You will oversee payment processing and dunning procedures.

• You will assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code).

• You will prepare and submit monthly filings, particularly VAT pre-declarations (USt‑Voranmeldungen) and EC Sales Lists (ZM).

• You will perform account reconciliations, especially for intercompany accounts and fixed assets accounting.

• You will act as the primary contact for tax advisors and auditors.

• Additionally, you will contribute to optimizing and automating accounting processes.

• You will support the establishment of efficient, group-wide finance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have completed commercial vocational training, preferably as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) or have further training in finance and accounting.

• You possess several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally a minimum of 5 years.

• You have solid practical knowledge in preparing monthly and annual financial statements under HGB (German Commercial Code) and in tax law.

• Ideally, you have experience in supporting multiple entities or managing more complex accounting structures.

• You are proficient in DATEV and possess excellent Excel skills.

• You work independently, methodically, and with a process-oriented mindset.

• You demonstrate high accuracy, reliability, and initiative.

• Furthermore, you are a team player who enjoys collaboration, including in a remote environment.

• You have very good German language skills and ideally also possess English language skills.
