This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare and assess monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with supporting schedules.
• Oversee general ledger functions, including the management of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Analyze financial data and account activities to pinpoint trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Aid in budgeting and forecasting through data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis and offer insights into financial performance.
• Collaborate with department leaders to facilitate financial decision-making.
• Create reporting tools and metrics to enhance visibility into business performance.
• Utilize NetSuite for accounting operations, financial reporting, and maintaining data integrity.
• Enhance accounting workflows, processes, and internal controls.
• Engage in system enhancements, implementations, and optimization projects.
• Aid in the standardization and scalability of processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, schedules, and addressing inquiries.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in documenting accounting procedures and financial processes.
• Collaborate with operational, case management, and leadership teams to streamline financial workflows and reporting.
• Contribute to accounting and financial integration activities associated with acquisitions and organizational growth.
• Provide financial insights and accounting guidance throughout the organization.
• Report directly to the Controller.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
• Required hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, medical-legal, or professional services organizations is advantageous.
• Background in supporting process improvement initiatives and system implementations is beneficial.
• Experience in integrating newly acquired entities in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with multi-entity accounting and financial consolidation processes is beneficial.
• Valid work authorization for the country where the applicant is applying is required.
