Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and generate financial statements along with related reports for Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds, including associated entities such as general partners, management companies, and special purpose vehicles.

• Calculate management fees.

• Support accounts payable and intercompany transactions.

• Oversee cash management, including daily activities, investment transactions, and monthly reconciliations.

• Prepare capital calls and distributions for investors.

• Assist with annual client audits and collaborate with external auditors.

• Help prepare tax-related documents, including annual Form 1099 preparation and submission, as well as review Schedule K-1.

• Aid in compliance matters such as state and local tax filings and registrations.

• Execute special projects as requested.

• Manage technology requests (Excel, macro, etc.) from the team.

• Collaborate with internal teams on technology automation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of relevant fund administration or private fund experience; CPA designation is preferred.

• Previous experience in payroll processing is desirable.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and complete projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong ability to produce accurate numbers and a keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team, demonstrating a high degree of flexibility.

• Proficiency in multiple software applications is preferred, including QuickBooks, Excel, and other Office applications.
