Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Carry out month-end closing procedures across various accounting functions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist in special projects, process improvements, and system upgrades to promote scalable operations.

• Conduct account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure financial precision and deliver actionable insights.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to synchronize accounting processes and improve operational accuracy.

• Pinpoint and suggest enhancements to policies, procedures, and controls, offering practical and innovative solutions.

• Adjust to changing priorities while infusing positive energy into a collaborative team environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Over 2 years of public accounting experience and at least 1 year in industry, ideally within a complex, multi-entity environment.

• Strong technical accounting expertise with an emphasis on process optimization and scalability.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced teams and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and corporate accounting standards.

• Familiarity with finance/accounting systems, as well as designing processes and procedures.

• Proficient in accounting workpaper design and documentation.
