Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Prepare VAT returns, JPK filings, and assist in ongoing tax compliance activities.

• Generate regulatory reports and submissions for GUS and NBP.

• Engage in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Aid in the preparation of statutory financial statements.

• Develop management reports, financial analyses, and insights on business performance.

• Record and uphold accounting transactions while ensuring the precision and completeness of financial data.

• Issue sales invoices and facilitate related processes.

• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and financial statement evaluations.

• Work closely with finance and business teams based in the United States.

• Assist in transitioning accounting processes from an external accounting firm to the internal finance team.

• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to designing efficient accounting and reporting processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in Polish, with native proficiency.

• Several years of practical accounting experience.

• Hands-on knowledge of VAT, JPK reporting, and financial reporting standards.

• Strong accounting skills paired with a business-driven approach.

• Ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned areas.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.

• Experience with Enova365 is a plus.
