Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping tasks, which include reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closures.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.

• Assist with year-end compilations, audits, reviews, and tax-related activities.

• Collaborate directly with clients to address accounting inquiries and resolve issues.

• Ensure timely delivery of client work and communicate proactively when attention is needed.

• Enhance processes, systems, and methods of operation.

• Provide support for financial analysis and various client projects.

• Manage accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of expanding companies.

• Engage with international clients, founders, CFOs, and senior finance professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4 years of pertinent accounting experience.

• Proven experience in managing full-cycle accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

• Ability to handle multiple clients and meet deadlines concurrently.

• Proficient communication skills in English with clients and senior finance executives.

• Role conducted entirely in English.

• Capability to investigate discrepancies and independently devise solutions.

• Experience at a Big Four accounting firm is mandatory.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep, or CaseWare is advantageous.

• Background in public accounting, audit, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech, or Web3 is a plus.

• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred.
