Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Manage the entire accounting cycle and bookkeeping processes, which include reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable/accounts receivable, and month-end close.

• Prepare and evaluate financial statements along with management reports.

• Assist with year-end compilations, audits, reviews, and tax-related tasks.

• Collaborate directly with clients to address accounting inquiries and resolve issues.

• Ensure timely delivery of client projects and proactively communicate when attention is required.

• Enhance processes, systems, and operational methods.

• Provide support for financial analysis and various client initiatives.

• Take ownership of accounting responsibilities for a portfolio of expanding companies.

• Engage with international clients, founders, CFOs, and senior finance professionals.

• Gradually assume more complex accounting, finance, and advisory responsibilities as the position evolves.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 4 years of pertinent accounting experience.

• Proficient in full-cycle accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

• Capability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines concurrently.

• Strong communication skills in English, particularly with clients and senior finance professionals.

• Ability to articulate the implications of financial figures, not just their definitions.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep, or CaseWare is advantageous.

• Experience in public accounting, auditing, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech, or Web3 is beneficial.

• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is a plus.
