Senior Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute daily bank reconciliations and log bank transactions into the general ledger.

• Generate monthly journal entries and conduct thorough balance sheet account reconciliations, which include accounts receivable, prepaids, accruals, and other liability accounts.

• Oversee internal and external wire transfers.

• Review, assess, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for discrepancies at month-end close, ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

• Support quarterly and year-end audit processes.

• Uphold financial security by adhering to internal controls and established company policies.

• Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent practical experience.

• Three (3) to five (5) years of general accounting or finance experience is required.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Oracle ERP accounting software is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills (both oral and written) with the ability to communicate effectively.

• Must be available to work during PST zone hours. Candidates residing on the West Coast are preferred.
