📋 Description

• Take ownership of daily accounting functions, ensuring precise transaction documentation and system reliability.

• Oversee accounts payable operations, guaranteeing appropriate approvals, accurate coding, and prompt processing.

• Administer bi-weekly multi-state payroll using Rippling, while ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Execute and facilitate the monthly closing process to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and assess balance sheet reconciliations, proactively identifying and addressing discrepancies.

• Assist with both internal and external auditing processes.

• Create and uphold accounting policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Over 4 years of pertinent accounting experience.

• Strong grasp of GAAP standards.

• Practical experience with payroll and accounts payable functions.

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Excel.

• Proven ability to manage tasks independently and adhere to deadlines.
