This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact on a daily basis for 3-5 multi-service client accounts, contributing to the planning of deliverables, managing projects, and coordinating internally while providing support to senior leadership as necessary. This encompasses large advocacy organizations and/or campaigns.
• Provide clients with clear and engaging updates – showcasing topline performance, key trends, and strategic recommendations – with assistance from senior leadership when required.
• Assist in maintaining client management standards, which include processes and communications.
• Facilitate client calls and support necessary preparation work, including agendas, note-taking, and following up on action items.
• Identify potential client issues or risks early and collaborate on internal solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams across copy, creative, and reporting to ensure effective execution.
• Keep track of deliverables, calendars, and pacing documents across service departments (email, ads, texts, etc.).
• Draft internal briefs and client-ready updates in collaboration with staff from various verticals.
• Document insights, best practices, and client records across all accounts.
• Gradually take on client ownership, assuming greater responsibility and leadership as skills evolve.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking for each client's program, including creating and updating projections and budget reports with input from verticals and leadership.
• Alert leadership to any over- or under-spending risks along with recommendations.
• Identify growth opportunities, testing strategies, and optimization plans.
• Learn, implement, and contribute to Middle Seat SOPs (onboarding, reporting, internal workflows) with appropriate guidance.
• Pursue upselling opportunities (e.g., proposing new services or increasing client budgets) within existing client accounts.
• Assist in external business development activities, including creating sales and marketing materials, conducting sales research, and attending client meetings.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance client-facing processes based on personal experience and feedback from internal teams and clients, and assist in developing those materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• This position requires occasional domestic travel, approximately 2-3 times per quarter, for in-person client meetings, networking events, and industry gatherings.
• 4-5 years of experience in digital strategy for clients or within political campaigns.
• Experience leading digital programs throughout one cycle – either managing cross-vertical accounts in an Account Lead role at a political digital agency or acting as a Digital Director for a congressional campaign or organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including client copywriting and the ability to communicate tasks and goals effectively to clients and staff).
• A digital strategist with a comprehensive understanding of online fundraising, digital content, and paid media.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
• A self-motivated individual with a growth-oriented mindset, capable of quickly adapting to new programs and tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as ActBlue, Google Workspace, Slack, and CRMs like ActionKit.
• Proficiency with creative tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Canva is a plus.
• Experience with fundraising projections, spreadsheets, and client budgets is preferred.
• Previous agency or consulting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
