This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive account expansion while cultivating customer relationships and representing the voice of the customer.
• Develop customer strategies through comprehensive value propositions to optimize bookings, revenue, and profitability, aligning with Aptiv metrics and goals.
• Oversee the resolution of customer commercial disputes as Aptiv's designated customer lead.
• Foster proactive communication and relationships that build confidence and trust.
• Ensure customer requirements are addressed through the proper internal processes, ensuring timely responses that adhere to our commercial policy.
• Formulate and implement a strategic plan for the account.
• Engage with customer purchasing, engineering, and program management teams.
• Identify opportunities for business development.
• Coordinate and oversee pricing, quotations, business proposals, and feedback regarding wins or losses.
• Responsible for the preparation and delivery of presentations to customers, covering all aspects of the business account (Technical and Commercial).
• Over 5 years of experience in the electronic components industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, or a related field.
• Capability to develop relationships with customer purchasing, engineering, and business teams.
• Determination to meet revenue and profit objectives.
• Proficient in compiling and presenting business cases for leadership approval.
• Strong business acumen, including negotiation skills and comprehension of financial business cases.
• Self-motivated to learn the CS product portfolio and understand the unique value propositions of its design features for effective customer communication.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a diverse workload, prioritize tasks, and deliver results.
• Ability to interpret production prints and address basic product inquiries without engineering assistance.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to present the CS product portfolio to customers without the need for engineering or product line manager involvement.
• Capability to respond to basic product performance inquiries (such as current rating, voltage range, temperature range, etc.).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
