This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Act as the main point of contact for a selection of Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients
• Create and implement account strategies that enhance retention and uncover upsell prospects
• Collaborate with the vCIO/TAM to prepare and present quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for key accounts
• Actively assess account health metrics such as support volume, contract timelines, and relationship indicators
• Manage renewal discussions and negotiate contract extensions within established approval limits
• Appropriately escalate technical issues and ensure they are resolved
• Keep precise CRM records, activity logs, and account health metrics updated in HubSpot
• Identify upsell and cross-sell possibilities and work with Sales and the vCIO on larger opportunities
• Mentor Account Managers and offer advice on intricate account matters
• Advocate for the client's perspective internally — provide structured feedback to delivery, product, and leadership
• 3 to 5 years or more of experience in account management, customer success, or B2B sales — experience in managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, or technology services is highly preferred
• Demonstrated success in achieving retention and upsell goals — be prepared to provide specific metrics
• Comfortable engaging in discussions with business owners, operations leaders, and C-suite executives
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage a significant portfolio without oversight
• Familiarity with managed IT infrastructure, cloud services, or cybersecurity solutions
• Proficiency in CRM systems is essential — experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, ConnectWise, or similar platforms
• Experience using PSA tools (such as ConnectWise or Autotask) is advantageous but not mandatory
