
Senior Account Executive – State & Municipal Markets

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Create and implement sales strategies for specific territories to enhance revenue growth within municipal fire departments, county governments, state agencies, airport fire departments, and other public-sector markets.
• Cultivate new business prospects through direct outreach, networking, customer interactions, industry events, product demonstrations, and by fostering relationships with distributors and channel partners.
• Develop and sustain relationships with stakeholders in fire service, emergency response, procurement, distribution, and channel partnerships.
• Act as a trusted consultant on fluorine-free foam performance, PFAS transition planning, and implementation strategies while assisting with distributor engagement, training, and initiatives for business development to broaden market reach.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership teams to relay customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer, opportunity, forecast, and account data within CRM systems.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Fire Science, Emergency Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar position.
• A strong background in the firefighting foam industry is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in selling to municipal, government, public safety, emergency response, fire protection, or related sectors is preferred.
• Knowledge of public-sector procurement processes, cooperative purchasing programs, bids, and government purchasing cycles is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in developing new business opportunities and overseeing full-cycle sales processes.
• Established connections within the fire service, public safety, emergency response, or municipal sectors are highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to utilize industry knowledge and professional relationships to aid in market expansion, customer acquisition, and strategic growth initiatives.
