This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with the Senior Account Director or Vice President to develop annual plans for clients.
• Analyze and prepare reports that assess client planned giving marketing programs, providing recommendations aligned with client objectives.
• Design, implement, and evaluate segmentation strategies to create effective segmentation for Planned Giving direct response marketing initiatives.
• Ensure that agency reporting aligns with the strategy of client campaigns.
• Stay informed about internal and industry benchmarks and trends.
• Create long-term and multi-year planned giving marketing strategies that are in sync with client goals.
• Prepare and deliver annual plans to clients.
• Provide strategic leadership for client programs.
• Oversee the execution of the client's annual plan.
• Prepare, finalize, and present strategic decks.
• Manage a cross-channel team effectively.
• Develop concepts and messaging for integrated direct response initiatives.
• Collaborate with copywriters and designers to create program content that aligns with project and program strategies.
• Oversee account and production team service delivery to clients, ensuring problem-solving and accountability for any errors.
• Maintain communication with client contacts to ensure satisfaction and foster strong client relationships.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients.
• Coordinate with Offline and Digital teams to develop multi-channel campaigns and comprehensive wrap-up decks.
• Mentor managers, coordinators, and assistants or other team members.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert in the area of legacy and planned giving for the agency.
• Enhance the company’s brand by participating in events, publishing white papers or blog posts, speaking at workshops, and networking with influencers.
• At least 9 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy.
• A minimum of 4 to 6 years in nonprofit planned giving fundraising and marketing.
• Experience in direct marketing, particularly in fundraising and/or advocacy.
• Solid knowledge of planned giving concepts and marketing techniques.
• Proven experience in strategic and production management of direct marketing projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated effective use of digital tools for managing internal and external workflows and communications.
