
Senior Account Executive – Enterprise Sales, Greenfield

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead account acquisition by managing a designated territory and fostering relationships with all relevant stakeholders within target accounts to optimize sales into new accounts.
• Navigate complex organizational structures and engage with multiple decision-makers to successfully secure new accounts.
• Assess customer requirements and tailor a suitable offering from our portfolio to fulfill those needs.
• Enhance the top of the sales funnel by complementing centralized marketing initiatives with personal prospecting efforts.
• Utilize New Relic’s sales methodology to finalize large-scale, multi-year consumption-based agreements.
• Generate precise forecasts, develop a pipeline to meet booking targets, and document activities in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with customers throughout the sales process to ensure positive business outcomes.
• Work closely with a dedicated Solutions Consultant and Sales Development Representative to achieve results.
• Review publicly available information to stay informed about potential demand triggers.
• A minimum of 8 years of sales experience.
• Field sales experience in selling software to Fortune 1000 companies.
• Consistent, significant, and demonstrated success in enterprise sales.
• High energy levels and a well-honed business acumen.
• Exceptional ambition paired with strong teamwork skills.
• Experience in consultative sales of enterprise solutions.
• Strong skills in sales hunting with a creative approach.
• Previous experience in selling Observability solutions is a plus.
• A technical background is an added advantage.
