This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Drive sales and foster market growth within the designated territory.
• Develop, nurture, and sustain relationships with key decision-makers to support the delivery of business solutions and tools.
• Build and maintain partnerships with AWS and other market collaborators.
• Sustain communication and establish a reporting routine with key stakeholders at AWS.
• Monitor and report on individual leads and opportunities, as well as overall pipeline and business performance in your territory.
• Analyze insights from customer engagements, pinpoint opportunities for enhancing business processes, and prepare a persuasive business case that includes pain points, cost justifications, and critical needs that Mission Cloud can address.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products to inform customers about the details and specifics of offerings.
• Ensure that customer needs and concerns are promptly resolved and delegate tasks to the appropriate team within Mission Cloud while maintaining a sales-focused approach.
• With guidance from the Sales Manager, prioritize high-profile and high-potential accounts based on size, volume, usage, and potential for upselling opportunities.
• Work together with Solutions Architects to develop client proposals; oversee contract creation and negotiations.
• Seek management support for larger and more strategic deals.
• Partner with Cloud Advisors (internal demand generation representatives) on prospecting initiatives.
• Proven ability to operate in a technology-related sales or business development position.
• Experience in consultative selling of professional and/or managed services.
• Proficient in managing intricate sales cycles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; capable of engaging with C-suite executives.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment at Mission Cloud.
• Willingness and ability to manage travel of 40% or more.
• Background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) with the capability to engage with cloud computing services is advantageous.
