This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Accountable for the promotion and sale of Pace Analytical services within a designated territory, utilizing relationships to ensure customer loyalty.
• Expands Market Share through the growth of new business and enhances the Wallet Share of current customers in the assigned area.
• Visits client locations to assess requirements or to advocate for services as necessary.
• Keeps customer records updated using automated systems.
• Engages in negotiations regarding pricing or terms of sales or service agreements; provides quotes for prices, credit terms, or other bid specifications.
• Reaches out to new or existing clients to discuss how specific products/services can fulfill their needs.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the entire range of services offered.
• Offers complex and specialized analysis, interpretation, and advice to customers, staff, management, and functional leaders concerning sales policies, programs, and practices.
• Provides training and guidance on sales strategies to new Account Executives.
• Develops recommendations based on an analysis of customer needs and technical knowledge of capabilities and limitations to meet customer specifications.
• Continuously analyzes and reviews operations, performance, feedback, and relevant sales information to identify trends, draw conclusions, interpret findings, and present results, proposals, and recommendations to customers or management.
• Ensures the precision of complex and specialized sales and operational databases, reports, and associated details through audits, queries, and operational assessments; collaborates with teams to address discrepancies.
• Aids in the creation of sales or cross-functional project objectives, which includes proposed budgets, timelines, materials, personnel, and other project requirements, receiving direction and presenting information to management; may develop and oversee areas that are moderate in scope or impact.
• A Bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, operations, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of five (5) years of customer support experience, including involvement with complex to specialized programs or operations.
• Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certificates in active status without suspension or revocation.
• A valid Driver's License.
• Familiarity with principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Complex to specialized knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques related to sales effectiveness.
• Intermediate to complex skills in resolving sales and customer issues, inquiries, and concerns.
• Understanding of various testing tools, equipment, and processes.
• Proficiency in correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
